KIC Raw Materials Up-scaling project (D4.2) no 17200
Acronym: RADIUS
The project involves developing a technology for manufacturing automotive disc brakes based on recycled aluminum alloys. The main goal of the project is to achieve the maximum level of recycling ensuring compliance with OEM requirements minimizing environmental impact.
It is assumed that this goal will be achieved through the use of recycled materials while maintaining the quality requirements of the final product. It is envisaged to increase the efficiency of resource use, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and reduce energy consumption. Project results will be implemented in FAGOR EDERLAN S. COOP Spain.
