Contract number: PBS1/B5/21/2013
Acronym: SHSPW
The project concerns the production of sheets with a controlled level of internal stress used for laser cutting.
The innovative nature of the solution and difficulties with the proper conduct of the production process mean that these sheets are not currently produced in the country. Therefore, the main goal of the project is to develop the technological parameters of the actual production process and the appropriate chemical composition of steel. In order to ensure the flexibility of the proposed solution, software will be created that allows designing production processes in terms of new specific requirements of customers. In addition, an internal stress measurement method optimized for ArcelorMittalPoland conditions will be proposed.
The project is implemented by a consortium composed of:
- Akademia Górniczo Hutnicza im Stanisława Staszica w Krakowie;
- ArcelorMittal Poland S.A.,
- Instytut Metalurgii Żelaza im. Stanisława Staszica
- Instytut Metali Nieżelaznych w Gliwicach, Oddział Metali Lekkich w Skawinie
